Connecting Your EHR or PMS
AdvancedCare supports direct integrations with major EHR and practice management systems (PMS) via HL7, FHIR R4, and
flat-file formats.
Supported integration methods

Setting up an HL7/SFTP connection
1. Go to Settings > Integrations > EHR Connections.
2. Click Add Connection and select your EHR vendor from the list.
3. Enter the SFTP credentials provided by your EHR vendor.
4. Run a test transmission using the Test Connection button.
5. Once confirmed, set the polling interval (recommended: every 15 minutes).
Setting up a FHIR connection
1. Obtain the FHIR base URL and OAuth 2.0 client credentials from your EHR administrator.
2. In AdvancedCare, go to Settings > Integrations > FHIR.
3. Enter the base URL and credentials, then click Authorize.
4. Select which FHIR resources to sync (e.g., Patient, Claim, Coverage).
Troubleshooting
If the test connection fails, verify that your firewall allows outbound connections to AdvancedCare's IP range (provided
in the Settings panel). Contact support if errors persist.
